Polar ocean world

Qingdao people's Republic of China signed a contract with Qingdao polar ocean world Construction Co., Ltd. The investor is sirik Petroleum (Singapore) Limited. The construction period is three years, and it is planned to be completed in October 2006. The first phase of the core projects is expected to start construction in the third quarter and put into operation in May 2005. It is reported that the project will build the world's largest polar marine animal museum.

A comprehensive marine theme park with the theme of polar animal exhibition, marine polar animal performance, marine science and Technology Museum, fisherman's Wharf, etc. The whole project covers an area of 140000 square meters, including: Ocean Polar Museum, marine science and Technology Museum, ocean entertainment Avenue, fisherman's Wharf and other projects.

Qingdao polar ocean world project is a large-scale tourism and holiday comprehensive service facility integrating leisure, entertainment and culture. From the sculpture garden in the east to the ocean Entertainment City in the West. In addition to the reconstruction and expansion of the existing dolphin performance hall, the largest ocean Polar Museum, marine science and Technology Museum, marine entertainment Avenue, fisherman's Wharf and other projects will be built.

The polar Investigation Office of the State Oceanic Administration has awarded Qingdao the honorary title of "polar science popularization education base" for polar ocean world, and presented precious Antarctic stones for exhibition in the venue.
